Coach Stephen Conrad: Coach Conrad is excited to be the new Head Coach for the North Paulding High School Men’s Basketball program. He is entering his 7th year as a men’s basketball coach at North and his first year as Head Coach. Coach Conrad loves working at North Paulding and is excited to continue teaching, coaching, and leading the Men’s Basketball program. June 2019 was a big year for him as he married his wife Hannah, formerly Coach B or Ballingall. She is also a teacher at North Paulding. Coach Conrad and his wife met at North and love being a part of this school and community.
Stephen Conrad graduated from Kennesaw Mountain High School in May 2009. He played Varsity Basketball for four years while at KMHS under the direction of Coach Bonner and new North Paulding AD, Ryan Dyer. He received his B.S. in Sports Management with a minor in Business from Georgia Southern University in May 2013. In 2017, he completed his MAT in Secondary Education at Liberty University.
In his spare time, Coach Conrad enjoys spending time with his wife, playing with his German Shepard, Rambo, going to the beach, and supporting North Paulding athletics
Coach Kip Dyer: Coach Dyer enters the year as a member of new head coach Stephen Conrad's staff. Coach Dyer has been a coach for over ten years at the high school and collegiate NAIA level, including his four total years at North Paulding and stints at North Cobb Christian School (one season) and South Paulding High School (three seasons). The North Cobb Christian team went to the Elite Eight round in the state tournament. In his years at South Paulding, the team had back-to-back Elite Eight appearances and won region runner-up and region champions. Coach Dyer was also an integral part of the pack's previous season where the team broke the school record for wins, going 20-8 and advancing to the state tournament for the first time in school history. Coach Dyer specializes in player development, college recruitment, and point guards, and is incredibly excited to continue as a member of the pack family! He and his wife, Natalie, an 8th grade teacher at Rome Middle School, have been married since 2014.
Coach Tyler Lyons: Coach Lyons is entering his 8th year for North Paulding Basketball and his 3rd year as a staff member at North Paulding. Coach Lyons serves as a varsity assistant helping with all levels and the ISS Teacher at the school. Coach Lyons is originally from Acworth, Georgia, and currently resides in Kennesaw. Coach Lyons is excited for the upcoming season and can not wait to watch this years class grow.
Coach Jon Morgan:Coach Morgan is entering his 5th year at North Paulding as a staff member and his 4th year as a part of the North Paulding Basketball coaching staff. Coach Morgan has coached alongside, first-year Head Coach Stephen Conrad, the past three years as an assistant varsity coach and freshman head coach. Coach Morgan is excited for Coach Conrad's new role as head coach and looking forward to the up and coming basketball season. Coach Morgan cannot wait to assist the Wolfpack program in building off the success from last year, 20-8 record and State Tournament qualifying season. Coach Morgan is originally from Kennesaw, Georgia, and currently still resides in Kennesaw and is a proud father of his daughter, Harper Morgan, age 7.
Coach Corey Crumley: Coach Crumley graduated from South Paulding High School in 2009, where he played football and was a member of the track and field team. After high school, Coach Crumley went on to Birmingham Southern College to play football and study education. After two years at BSC, Coach Crumley transferred to the University of West Georgia and earned his bachelor’s degree in Special Education in April 2014. Coach Crumley earned his master’s degree from Walden University in 2018 and is currently working to complete his specialist’s degree. He is in his 6th year at North Paulding and serves as the Career and Technical Instruction Coordinator.
While at West Georgia, Coach Crumley volunteered as a football coach for South Paulding’s middle school program for three years. Coach Crumley helped coach North Paulding’s freshmen football team for five seasons, working primarily with the offensive and defensive line, and serving as the team’s defensive coordinator in 2015. This will be Coach Crumley’s first year coaching boys’ basketball, after working with the girls’ program in various roles the past four seasons. Coach Crumley married his wife, Brooke, in May of 2014. Together they have two dogs, and a son, Bennett, who was born in August of 2017.
